Very Rare Nepali Shaman Mask Made of Yak Bone - 25 cm High

A very rare ancient Nepali mask from the Himalayan mountains that was used by a local shaman (also called 'medicine man' or 'miracle doctor') who wore it to contact spirits from the afterlife during magical practices.

This special mask is not made of wood but carved entirely from one large bone of a Yak bovine (say the local bison).

I once saw a similar mask for sale at a foreign antique seller for over 500 euros because of its rarity.

The sides of this mask have small holes on the left and right so that the object can be hung appropriately on the wall by means of a string or iron wire.

It is about 25 cm high and 22 cm wide.
